Meticulo - a family run suits tailoring business managed personally by our co-founders in Sydney.

Our goal is to keep customisation accessible to all, while keeping the art of tailoring alive. We keep prices low by utilising innovative methods to decrease overhead costs.

Our strategy is simple -

  1. Our mobile tailoring option means that we run our business from our home or yours, incurring cost with each appointment taken instead of paying rent 24/7.

  2. Staff are paid on a commission basis and work when they want, leaving time to explore everything else life has to offer while we save on hiring someone 12/7.

  3. Our online platform serves as a showroom and a way to gain leads, ridding the need for a brick and mortar shop.

  4. We only sell made to measure items, meaning we don’t incur cost with excess stock and generate less trash for the world.

  5. Spend wisely on advertising and rely on word of mouth from our satisfied customers - running a business is a marathon, not a sprint.

We are not here to disrupt the market, but to provide access to people who would not consider custom clothes otherwise - its not privilege, its an opportunity.


OUR PROCESS

 

1. BOOK AN APPOINTMENT

Come to us or opt for our mobile tailoring service - we come to you!

 

2. THE APPOINTMENT/ MEASUREMENT

Our stylists will guide you through our extensive range of suit and shirt fabric swatches, measurements and customisations, while also getting to know your preferences and desired fit.

An order may be submitted and 50% of the invoice value is due.

 

2. THE FITTING/ ADJUSTMENTS

Our stylists will contact you once your suits are ready in about 3 - 4 weeks to arrange a fitting at your desired location.

At this point, we view the fit of the suit on your body and pin down any adjustments that need to be made. (Please note that only reasonable adjustments are provided, preference / body size changes incur an additional charge)

 

3. FINAL FITTING

Any further adjustments will take approximately 1.5 weeks to complete. 

The remaining 50% of the invoice value is due when our customers walk away satisfied.
